About this Event
Crises drive us to reflect and rethink our old ways of living, which in turn results in innovation and adaptation of new structures. Every challenge is also an opportunity.
The ongoing crisis of Covid-19 has changed significantly the way we interact with our urban environment. It shifted the way we move in the city, altered our consumption behaviour, reduced our social interaction and subjected us to increased state regulation. Almost all industries, from tourism and banking to local government and small businesses, had to rethink the way they operate and adapt themselves to a new reality.
When the dust of the current pandemic will settle, how will our cities look like? Would we go back to ‘business as usual’ or implement new measures and new business models to make our city more resilient to future shocks?
Smart City Hub powered by BIA – Berlin Innovation Agency is launching a new season of hybrid (online and offline) events under the topic of Resilience. Our events will focus on how to make our cities and businesses more shock-proof, test new ideas and nurture a next normal that will be better than what it replaced.
